Piercees Bill Of Rights

To be pierced in a scrupulously hygienic, open environment, by a clean,
conscientious piercer wearing a pair of sterile, non-hypoallergenic gloves.

To a sober, friendly, calm and knowledgeable piercer, who will guide the
piercee through their piercing experience with confidence and assurance.

To the piece of mind which comes from knowing that the piercer knows &
practices the very highest standards of sterilisation and hygiene.

To be pierced with a new single use needle which is disposed of in a medical
grade sharps container immediately after use on that piercee only.

To be touched with only freshly sterilised, appropriate implements, properly
used and immediately disposed of or re-sterilised in a hospital grade autoclave.

To know that ear piercing guns are NEVER appropriate for any part of the
body except the earlobes.

To be fitted with only appropriate sized jewelry, which is safe and suitable in
material, design and construction and which promotes healing. ( Gold plated,
gold filled and sterling silver jewelry is NEVER appropriate for a new or
unhealed piercing.)

To be fully informed on proper aftercare procedures and to have any questions
or concerns answered in a professional manner.
